CMF® Certification Year: 2017
Organization: Facilitating Results
Location: Ontario, Canada

Sheri has 20 years blended experience in practical risk management and knowledge transfer, as a trainer and course content developer.  Sheri is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) whose consulting practice, Facilitating Results, helps organizations to develop sustainable solutions to problems through risk management practices and training.

Early in her career Sheri was seconded to London, England with the newly merged PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where she became part of a team that cross-trained the UK to embrace the best practices that would go forward in the new firm.  She never looked back and corporate training has become her passion, excited by the magic that adult learners create when they collaborate.

In 2006, Sheri expanded her love of working with groups and certified with the International Association of Facilitators (IAF) to become a Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF). She is now a Certified Master Facilitator (CMF) with INIFAC (2017).  Sheri has applied her audit background and training experience to establish risk management departments for large financial institutions in Toronto and Ireland using Risk and Control Self-Assessment.  This method uses facilitation to engage front-line staff and management by identifying areas for improvement within a company.  Sheri has also attained Certificates in Adult Education (St. Francis Xavier) and Conflict Resolution (Carleton).

A strong proponent for work-life balance, Sheri makes her home in Ottawa, Ontario.  She is passionate about volleyball, playing beach in the summer and indoor court in the winter.  She has traveled the world, with Central America having a special place in her heart.
